ODESSA John Warren Fuller, 73, passed away Monday, June 5, 2006 at Hospice House in Odessa Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church in the Harvester Class. Burial will follow in McCamey. John was born in Iraan, Texas on September 15, 1932 to John and Ardell (Torbet) Fuller. He married Vera Stone in Fresno California on August 16, 1951. John served his country in the U.S. Army. He had been a regional man ager for Wilson Supply. He is survived by his wife Vera Fuller of Odessa; son Ted Warren Fuller and wife Debbie of Hobbs; daughter Ellen Marie Trent and hus band Billy of Crane; three grandchildren Angelina Dukes, James Fuller, Emily Susan Holcomb; six great grandchildren Katie, Eric and Justin Dukes, Payton and Mackenzie Holcomb and Serenity Wright. Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. MIDLAND Vona Lee Heiting, of Midland, passed away Friday, June 2, 2006. She was born November 26, 1951 to Ray Alford McMullin and Alves Eloise Davis McMullin in Nacona, Texas. She was a graduate of Andrews High School and Odessa College. Vona also graduated from UTPB. She was the past president of Phi Theta Kappa and was a mem ber of the Texas State Teacher’s Association. On May 25, 1996, Vona married Dr. Tom Heiting. At the time of her death, she was a teacher at Abell Jr. High where she was chair of the English Department. Other member ships included the American Poetry Society and the Literary Society. Vona is survived by her husband, Dr. Tom Heiting of Midland, TX; son, Shane Underwood of Hurst, TX; daughter, Clair R. Underwood of Lubbock, TX; mother, Eloise Nielson of Riverside, CA; step-son, Tom E. Heiting of Midland, TX; step-daugh ter, Lynn M. Heiting, of Odessa, TX; grandmother, Gussie Lee Davis of Leesville, LA; brothers, Dale Reeves of Harrison, AK; and Art Reeves of El Paso, TX; sisters, Elaine Reeves of San Antonio, TX; and Kathy Taylor of Enid, OK; grandchildren, Caden, Kaylee Joe, and Landon Underwood, Paxton and Payton Heiting. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. ODESSA Antonio Herrera 76 of Odessa passed away June 3, 2006 at Parks Methodist. He was born June 13, 1929 in Rio Hondo, Texas to parents Librado Herrera and Teodora Rodriguez. He was a welder and a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Olivia Gonzalez Herrera of Odessa, sons, Raul Herrera, Ruben Herrera, and Rodolfo Herrera all of Odessa, daughters, Raquel Aguilar and Antonia Martinez both of Odessa, brothers, Librado Herrera of Grand Prairie, TX, Jose Herrera of Brush, Colorado, Rufino Herrera of Houston, TX, and Jesus Herrera of San Benito, TX, sis ters, Teodora Herrera of Houston, TX, Guadalupe Betancourt and Maria Rodriguez of Rio Hondo, TX, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Marlene Joyce Broyles Miller ODESSA Marlene Joyce Broyles Miller, age 69, passed away June 4, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Mariene was born April 24, 1937 to Albert Emmanuel Broyles and Mabel Viola Hunter in Yakima, WA, and was reared and educated in Sidney, NE, and spent a num ber of years in Salt Lake City, UT. She worked numerous years in the food service industry at Bratten’s Seafood Grotto and also worked at Zion’s. Marlene was a fun loving free spirit. She was always “ready to go” and when she got there, she always had a good time. She loved country music, dancing, reading and crocheting. Ms. Miller is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mabel Broyles and broth er, LaVerne Broyles. Marlene is survived by her companion Earl Breeding of Odessa; son, Mathew Miller of Grand Junction CO; daughter, Misty Breeding of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Donna Linnell of Riverton, WY, five grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Emmett Barnard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Yvonne was born on July 17, 1922 in Bridgeport, TX to Dallas and Gertrude Stoneking. She was the Salutatorian of Bridgeport High School. She came to Odessa in 1941. She married Henry Peevy on April 30, 1942 in Odessa. He passed away in 1985. Yvonne was an avid foot ball fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Permian Panthers. Survivors include her son, Gary Peevy and wife Nancy of Rogers, Ark.; daughters, George Ann Ackal and Jo Beth Hamby her husband David all of Odessa; a brother, Elton Stoneking of Eufaula, OK; (6) grandchildren, and (5) great grandchildren.
