Richard JohnsonCLEARFIELD — RichardEmo Johnson, 88, of DuBois, died Saturday at Clearfield Hospital after a short illness.He was born Aug. 6, 1904, in DuBois, the son of Charles Johnson and Matilda Soder-strom. He was married to Daisey Long, who survives.He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the DuBois Moose and the Swedish American Club. He was a retired employee of the BO Railroad.He is also survived by six daughters: Mrs. Camden (Doris) Frantz of DuBois, Mrs. Alex (Phyllis) Shirokey of Sykesville, Mrs. James (Donna) Chittester of DuBois, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Cleary of Schenectady, N.Y., Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Penvose of Sykesville, and Mrs. James (Sandra) Kelege of DuBois; three sons, Melvin Johnson, Ronald Johnson and Dennis Johnson, all of DuBois; 22grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
