Graduation exercises for Licensed Psychiatric Technicians will be held at the Benton State Hospital auditorium Thursday, June 22, at 8 p.m. Dr. Walter Mizell, psychiatric services ad ministrator, will serve as master of ceremonies. Can didates for diplomas from the State Hospital at Little Rock will also take part in the ceremony. Candidates for graduation from the Benton unit are: Charles Richardson, president; Jean Cloud, vice president; Stephanie Crook, secretary-treasurer, and the following members of the class: Geneva Allen, Agnes Crookham, Mary Davis, Lola Floyd, Vergie Ford, Maymie Frank, Jean Gray, Joe Gray, Julia Haynie, Billie Hicks, Buddy Hinton, Flossie Johnson, Sue Landreth, Donnie Moore, Ruby Nicklaus, Rubie Riggan, Rebecca Sharp, Connie Smart, J.B. Thompson, Linda Tillery, Virginia Wallace, Donald Williams and Martha Williams. Officers of the Little Rock class are Estelle M. Pierce, president; Aurelia K. Hinson, vice president; and Jerry E. Colburn, secretary-treasurer, and other candidates for graduation are: Bonnie Jean Cordell, Kathy V. Cox, Jim L. Harrod, Terry G. Hicks, Ronald E. Hussey, Alvin ©. Johnson, Michael B. Kerner, Phyllis Lawrence, Patsy J. McPeace, James W. Weeks, Ann M. Nisler, R. June Pickering, Evelyn Reed, Sarah W. Robinson, Joseph Vienne, Dixie Wallace, Alice Woodall and Helen Yielding. Mrs. Frances Sheldon, music therapist, will play for the processional and recessional. Invocation will be by Rev. John B. Hunter, chaplain; welcome will be given by the presidents of the two classes. Dr. Roger Best, director of the Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services, will give the response. Mrs. A. Hall Allen, executive director of the Pulaski County Association for Mental Health, will be the speaker Mrs. Lucilla Warren, R.N., and Mrs. Mary A. Kennelly, R.N., who are directors of nursing at Little Rock and psyciatric nursing ad ministrator at Benton, respectively, will present the diplomas. Pins will be presented by Mrs. Marie Babrick, R.N., and Mrs. Annie R. Packer, R.N., directors of the School of Psychiatric Technician Nursing. Mrs Fred Graham, representing the Gideon Auxiliary, will present testaments to the graduates. Benediction will be by Rev. Glenn C. Womack, chaplain.
