BraunsKatherine Lynn Yager andGillam.Stephen Linn Brauns exchanged wedding vows yesterday evening in the First United Methodist Church of Bryan. 'HieReverend Weldon Morton performed the double ringceremony.Parents of the bride and groom are Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Thomas Yager, Jr. of Bryan, and Dr. and Mrs. Wilhelm H. Brauns of SanAngelo.Nupital music was presented by Mrs. Philip Hammond, organist, Mrs. R.W. Butler, soloist and Robert L. Boone, soloist.THE BRIDE, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of candlelight silk organdy combined with Alencon lace. The designer gown featured a high neckline and long full sleeves. An inset of silk satin, embellished with pearls, enhanced the empire bodice. Pearl-encrusted lace motifs were appliqued on the skirt and cathedral-length train.Her veil of silk illusion flowedthe length of the train from a coifarmliaued with heirloom rosepoint lace. Intertwined inher bouquet of yellow roses was an heirloom handkerchief, originally owned by the groom’s great grandmother.ANN YAGER attended her sister as maiden of honor.Mrs. David Hughes of Austin served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Sue Porter and Jane Mills of Bryan, Karen Liedtke of Houston and Cherie Wilson of Wichita Falls.They wore gowns of green and yellow print voile. The empire gowns featured long bishop sleeves, circlet necklines, and softly gathered floor-length skirts. They carried yellow garden baskets filled with yellow and white daisies and gyp-sophelia.The groom’s father served as best man.Groomsmen were Messrs. Steven Hail of Houston, Eric Holdridge of Grand Prairie, Thomas Price of San Angelo, and Bryan Hardeman and Steve Iote of Austin.USHERS WERE Messrs. David Hughes of Austin, Micheal Hoelscher of Houston, Ricky Martin of Odessa, and NeilTankersley of Mertzon.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Briarcrest Country Club. Southern smilax and clusters of yellow roses, brass candletrees, and arrangements of roses were used in the foyer. In the ballroom spiral candletrees, tiered candelabra, and greenery formed the background.The bride’s table held silver candelabra decorated with Northern smilax, yellow roses,snowflake poms, stock, and gypsophelia. The pedestal tiered wedding cake was adorned with yellow roses, stephanotis, and Northern smilax. A silver epergne filled with yellow roses center the buffet table.The groom’s table featured brass serving pieces, a double ring cake, and a tiered compote of fruit with grapes cascading onto the table. Hurricane lamps lined the entrance to the club and were also use on the patio where the tables held baskets ofdaisies and garlands of greenery.HOUSEPARTY membersincluded Mines. Austin High School In Bryan, attended Pine Manor Junior College in Boston, Mass., and is a senior at the University of Texas. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sororitv.A graduate of Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia, the groom has attended the University of Houston, and is a senior at the University of Texas.OUT—OF—TOWN relatives ofthe bride and groom attendingthe wedding included Mr. andMrs. H.P.
