Summer class schedules are now available at the Valley Center of Arts, 5115 White Oak Ave., Encino. Classes for children and adults will begin Monday, June 17 and will continue until Friday, Aug. 2. Registration is now open. Included in the summer pro gram of the nonprofit organi zation are classes in mixed media for children from 3 to 12 years old, drawing and painting for 10-year-olds to a papier made for teens, and adults, painting, drawing, sculpture and serigraphy for teens and adults, guitar and recorder for children and adults. California artists Richard Klix, Charles Emerson, Milli Levin, Carol Williams and Frances Saslow are part of the professional faculty at the center. In addition to classes the ‘Valley Center of Arts offers hootenanies once a month, film programs, workshops, ex hibits and concerts.
