RENO, June 5}—Out of gaso ltine and after battling heavy winds, Amelia Earhart Putnam, aviatrix, was forced down at Lovelock, Neva da, ninety miles east of Reno, this afternoon. The aviatrix, flying an Autogyro plane, landed at the emergency field ‘twenty miles from Lovelock. Talking by phone, the flier in formed the Nevada State Journal that she would spend the night in Lovelock. She plans to continue the flight early in the morning, arriv ing in Reno for refueling at 7 o' clock.
