NORTH SHORE I GOLF COURSE IS |NEAR COMPLETIONWith the opening of the season, May 30, at the North Shore Golf Club, an unusual achievement has been accomplished.Converted from cultivated farm land into beautiful rolling golf links ■ in the lapse of a year’s time, the grounds of the North Shore Club presents a pleasing picture.Hundreds of members were present Friday, May 30th, to open up the season. Altho the finishing touches remain to be put upon the Club House and adjoining building, nevertheless the day was a great one. Lunch was served on the veranda and members and visitors came and went thru-out the day. The weather was all that could be desired, caddies numerous and all had a thoroly good time.A ladies’ tournament was held on Monday in which thirty players competed.
