‘Miss Laure Robb Entertains in Hon or of Miss Maud Orth From. 3 Until 6, ‘Mrs. Burton Smith Entertains Young’ Women for Miss Isabelle Malmstedt. ‘flas Laura. Robb gave 2 tea this after noon at her home on Chicago avenue for Mian Maude Orth. About 125 young wo men had been invited from 3 until o'clock. Clusters of pink peonies, ted roses and carnations furnished a charming ecoration thru the rooms. The dining room was It green and white with a great basket of ferns, with a white tulle bow on the handle, on the table. Mmes. M. P. Vander Horek, Alfred McLaughlin, Theo dore S. McLaughlin and William A. Re lover presided in the dining-room and the assisting young women were Misses Mande Shel, Margaret’ ‘Van Dusen, Ger trude Ballard, Irene Bofferding, Mary and] , Helen Harrington, Kate Buchanan and Corinne Webster Mrs. George B. Hayes entertained twen ty young women yesterday afternoon at her home on Bryant avenue 8. In honor of Mitt Orth, ‘The afternoon was spent in dainty needlework for the bride. Roses checked the rooms. Mrs. Burton Smith entertained sixteen Young women this afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. M. C. Malmstedt, on ‘West Grant street, In honor of Miss Isa belle Malmstedt. It was a lawn party and emaquet and tennis and other outdoor games were the amusements. TLuthheot h was served in the dining-room and pink and white roses were on the table and furnished tavers for the guests. A clus ter of roves marked the bride's place and was tied with a great pink bow. Monday evening Miss Margaret McCar ren will give a theater party followed by a supper at her home on First avenue 8. Tuesday the bridegroom, Harry Franklin Kennedy, will entertain the bridal party at the home of tin aunt, Mrs. HP, Cy~ phers, and tomorrow Mrs. NLC. Malm- Brodt will give a family dinner for the Bridal couple, ‘Mrs. Smith will be her sister’s matron of h onor and the bridesmaids will be Misses McCarren, Katherine Forest and Jane Eyres, John Malmstedt will be best man and the ushers will be B.
