PROMINENT CITIZENS IMPLICATEDIn the Liberations of James Burns, the Murderer Who Broke Jail at Williamsburg.Special to the Dally Progress.Williamsburg, June lt;J.—Several prominent citizens of this place are likely to be implicated in the liberation of James Burns, the murderer who broke jail several days ago and was recaptured in Smith county. Governor Lougino has granted a respite until the 21st of August for Bums in order that lie may testify before the grand jury concerning his manner of escape, and it is believed that he will tell the names of the men who assisted him in gaining liberty, in which event he will be given a respite until he oau testify against them in the circuit court.
