Brusti Wn Shooting Scrape.News reached Checotah the first of the week of the shooting of a young fellow named Tom Brimage by Dr. Ford. Both parties regide at Brush Hill, southwest of town, and the shooting occurred at a gathering near there last Saturday afternoon. It is alleged that the parties were drinking, but we have not learned what the. trouble came up over. Brimage's wound is not necessarily fatal, but it may prove 80. Only a few months ago Dr, Ford and Kelsey Shepherd; indulged in a little target practice nd Ford is now uoder bond on that charge.
