Since the force of reconstruction, Or angeburg county has been overwhelming ly Radical. Last week this county elect ed a member of the House of Representa tives, the successful candidate being our old war friend, Samuel Dibble, Exq., who, we predict, will be an honor to his county and State. Mr. Dibble is a young man of a high sense of honor, of a high order of talent, and will be a leader in our General Assembly. Much will be ex pected of him, and the State will not be disappointed. Our sister, Wilmington, is once more in the hands of honest men, for the first time sine negro suffrage was established. The new board consists of six Democrats and four Republicans, with John Dawson, Esq., as mayor.
