One Hundred Dollars Reward.R \N AWAY from the subscriber living near Snowden’s old Forge in Ann-Arundel county, state of Maryland, on Easter Tuesday night last, one Negro by the name of tHARRY, ;a stout, able bodied, well made fellow, twcn- ] ty veal’s of age, five feet seven or eight in- f cheshigh,of a yellowish complexion, and stammers when spoken to; had 011 u round snuff coloured jacket, brown great-coat, check trowsers and a good felt hat; he was taken 1 up with his brother near Frederick-Town on « the Thursday evening following, and com* 1 mitted to jail, and on his way from the ma- 1 gistrata’s made his escape. I expect he will endeavour to get off towards Pennsylvania as I a free man, as he had a kind of a pass which 1 was taken away from him when he was committed, in which he calls himself Nicholas Williams. Whoever takes up said run- 1 away and secures him in any jail so that I get him again, shall receive the above reward, and all reasonable charges paid if brought home, byRICHARD DISNEY.May 18, 1604.N. IXI Ten Dollars Reward.• TJ AN AWAY from the subscriber, living XV on the Potomack River, about three miles from the Big Spring, in Washington county, Maryland, on Monday the 16th ult. a negro man named JIM BOWLIN, between 37 and 40 years of age, abcut 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, stout made, a little pitted with the small pox—had on and took with him a blue cloth coat, a round about and breeches of copper coloured linsey, a white cloth waistcoat, one white marseillts do. a pair o, thickset pantaloons, a fur hat about half vrornf a jockey cap, and a pair of fine shoes. Whoever takes up and selt; inti said runaway in any jail, so that the subscriber may get litm again, shall have the above reward, to which will be added reasonable charges, if brought home.SARAH FORD.May 8, 1804.Sixteen Dollars Reward.RAN AWAY from the subscriber,living near Williamsport, in Washington county and state of Maryland, on the night of Saturday the 14th instant, negro JACOB, a likely fellow, about 30 years of age, tall, slim and straight; he is very black, and his teeth remarkably white—has a scar on his breast occasioned by a bum; had on a suit of b'ack and white country made fulled cloth, and took with him a variety of clothing not known. Whoever apprehends said negro, and secures him in any jail, so that the subscriber may get him again, shall receive, if taken within 2o miles of home, bight Dollars, and if a greater distance, the above reward, with all reasonable charges if brought home.PAUL HOYE.April 16, 1804.
