Delcie Short fFANROCK — Delcie Short, 77, died Thursday, June 3, 1993, at her home, (* followingashortillness. ^Born June 7, 1915, at Baileysville, she was the daughter of the late Char- 1 lie and Mary St. Clair Trent and an ^ aunt, the late Sarah St. Clair, whom raised her after the death of her parents. ^Mrs. Short was a homemaker, at- v tended Bner Creek Tabernacle at Fan- £ rock and was a lifelong resident of Wy-omingCounty. cShe was preceded in death by her ^ husband, Herbert Short; two infant ^ sons, Herby Jr. and Orvil Roy Short; an infant daughter, Gloria Ann Short; a ' grandson, Kenneth Atwell; four brothers, Elmer, Lance, Leo and Oscar Trent •' and a sister, Elsie Trent. 'Survivors include three daughters, ( Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Adams and Mrs. ' Leonard (Audrey) Rose, both of Fan- * rock and Mrs. Ronald (Helen) Stafford J of MacArthur; two sons, Ronny Short *■ at home and Roger Short and his wife, ^ Gail of Brook Park, Ohio; a sister, Den- * ita McNew of Princeton; a sister-in- I law, Vernie Trent of Tazewell, Va.; 14 J: grandchildren, and 22 great-grand- ( children.Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at 1 Brier Creek Tabernacle, Fanrock, with ‘ the Revs. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. ‘ i and Tommy Knotts officiating.
