RECEIVING the first Brigitte Orban Memorial Scholarship Is Mary Kathleen Reed, a Howland senior. Bob Fillmore, principal of Howland High School, presented the $200 scholarship to Katy recently in the high school library. She Is the daughter of Mrs. Sharon J. Reed and Mr. James Reed. Katy had a grade point average of 3.73 and ranks 10th in her class of 384. She plans to attend Boston University and will pursue a double major In French language and literature and international relations.
