MAX ALBERT MITSCHKEFuneral services for Max Albert Mitschke, 58, of Rt. 1, Giddings were held Tuesday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church at Loebau with the Rev. Ewald Recks officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.Mr Mitschke, a brick mason, died Thursday, May 29 at 11:30 pm, at Boehne Hospital in Brenham as the result of stab wounds.Mr. Mitschke was born March 16, 1917 at Dime Box, the son of Gus Mitschke and Esther Fritsche Mitschke. He married Vlasta Kensel and was a veteran of World War II.Survivors include his wife, Mrs Vlasta Mitschke of Giddings; a son, Donald Mitschke, who is in the U.S. Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Roberts of Houston; his mother, Mrs. Esther Mitschke of Houston; brothers, Robert Mitschke of Kountze, Otto Mitschke, Tony Mitschke, Tom Mitschke, Leon Mitschke and Shorty Mitschke, all of Houston; sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Stember, Mrs. LaVerne Cionginer, Mrs Frances Capps and Mrs. Shirley Martinelli, all of Houston; and 7 grandchildren
