—KERN— MARENGO—Funeral services for Frank 8. Kern, 65, who died sud denly of a heart attack Sunday were held at 1 p. m. Wednesday at the home southeast of Marengo, and at 1:30 p.m. at the First Methodist church with the Rev. George G. Hunt officiating, Burial will be in the Shilo cemetery near Cedar Rap ids, Mr. Kern was born at Luzerne, Town, the son of the late Chriss and Margaret Burkhart Kern. Nov. 28, 1901, he was married to Miss Emma Schultze at Luzerne. For 36 years the couple lived on the same farm where he died. He is survived by his wife; three brothers Joe, Luzerne, Fred, Belle Plaine, and Otto of Lisbon; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Radeke of Maren go. A brother and sister Preceded him in death,
