■ Memorial day was fittingly observed with' a patriotic program at the Christian church, the chief item of which' was. a fine address by Hon. S. G. Huber, lt;ot Tama.. The speaker was. at his best and gave his auditors one of the finest Memorial day addresses ever heard here. . Following the program, the parade, formed and marched toPleasant Hill cemetery where the. *graves of soldiers were decorated.-The Friends cemetery was next visited and a similar program followed. Just four veterans of the civil war participated,—Messrs. T. P. - Frost, D. W. Beebout, Henry Switzer and. Oscar Terrill,
