The death of Janies Ray and1 Ross Dyes, the injury ol Ed Dyer, and the destruction of the hah, by lightening, has cast a gloom over the coumunity. The remains of James Ray, were laid to cest under K. P. auspices, Wednesday afternoon. Waiter Lassen, of Rath* drum, preached the funeral sermon and the procession was lead by about 40 Knights under S. II. Watkins. The procession was half a mile long and comprised ovei 300 people. It was tl*e largest csowd eves gathered in Athol. G. R. Klopf pronounced the funeral service of the order. Ross Dyer was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dyer. His funeral will take place upon the arrival of his brother and sister from Canada.
