UAMES BURNS IS RESPITEDFor Ninety Days--A Man Falls and Is Killed.Special to the Daily Progress.Collins, June 5. — W. M. Corley, attorney for James Burns, tonight received a telegram from Governor Lougiuo giving a respite of ninety days to Burns.The governor is probably too busy campaigning to take action on the petition asking for executive clemency.And so the curtain will not be rung down on the last act this tragedy of crimo and sentiment until after the second primary.Geroge Howrad, foreman of teamsters of the Williamsburg Lumber Co., was killed today. He jumped from a “wild” dummy, his head striking a crosstie.Howrad was to have been married next Sunday.His body was shipped home at Laurel for burial.
