May 20th nf.ccm-surnption, Mrs. Melissa, wife of Thomas Applebee, in the seventieth year of her age.Thomas Applebee and wife came to this country nearly n half a century ago, were among the pioneers. They had a golden wedding about three years ago, which was attended by nunrcroJs relatives and friends. Deceased had been afflicted with that fearful disease, consumption for somo time. About six weeks before her death she w as con lined to her bed, she was then conscious, as were her, friends, that her stay upon earth was short, and surrounded by her husband and children, who were in constant attendance at her bed-side, she passed from e^rth to heaven on the morning of the 211th ult.
