Angeline PientaAngeline “Alice” Pienta (nee Pluta), a resident of Calumet City, formerly of South Chicago, died Monday, May 25.Services were Thursday from Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, Calumet City, to a Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Calumet City. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.The former Angeline Pluta was bom Jan. 15, 1903, in Chicago. She was formerly employed by Carson Pirie Scott in Chicago.She is survived by two sisters, Regina Novak and Rose Dziedzic; a brother, Chester (Jessie) Pluta; and two half sisters, Lottie Ulaszek and Vera Lindquist.Memorials may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Calumet City.
