ALBERT R. SPURRIER,Albert Richard Spurrier, .. son of Samuel Franklin and.. Margaret Wickham Spurrier was born in Clearfield, Iowa May 22, 1888. He passed away May 31, 1*970 at the Greater Community^Hospifal in.. Creston where he had been apatient about a week, following a short illness.He was united in marriage to Jessie Emily Busby on October 31, 1910, and to thisunion were born a son.R. E. Spurrier of Clearfield and a daughter,Lillian Campbell of GI enwood T I owa.His entire life was spent in the Mt.Ayr and Clearfield... communities , farming and in the Oil Business. Due to failing health he sold the oil business in 1941.He was a member of the Christian Church and Masonic... Lodge. His main interests were his family and community. He is survived by his son,R.E. and daughter-in-law,Fern.His daughter,Lillian and-son-in-law, Earl Campbell; Six grandchildren, Richard and wife Mary Ellen; Dean and wife,— Brenda; Done I la Parker and hu sband, Lloyd and Emily Frady.. and husband, James; Also, six greatgrandchildren, Cory, Clint, Scott'and Angela Spurrier Deborah and Randal! Parker. •• He was preceded in death. .* by his wife, Jessie, His parents, five sisters and seven brothers and one grandson, John Paul..Spurrier.Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Clearfield June 2, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev.Yoon officiating. ... Burial in the Clearfield cemetery.
