By Republic News Service 5T, CHARLES—Funeral services mere held May 31 for Della Lewis, , from the St. Charles Methodist church. Mrs. Lewis died May 28 at the Burke hospital. The Rev. Robert H. James, Burke, conduc ted the services. ' Burial was in the Bonesteel cemetery. Clausen Funeral Home, Burke was in charge. Della Elma Haver, daughter of Hiram and Hannah Haver was born in Appanoose County, Ia., March 23, 1879. She came to Bone steel as a young girl with her parents, and grew to young wo manhood in this community. She was united in marriage to Joseph H. Lewis Oct. , 19B8. They made their home in the Bonesteel community until 1925 when they moved to St. Chary es. Mrs. Lewis Has been mak ing her home at Burke the past year. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wal lace {Ethel} Peppel of J. Char les, Mrs. John Haisch (Velma) of Rapid City, and one son, Ever ‘eu Peppel, Los Angeles and one sister, Mrs. George Cross, Imlay City, Mich.
