RITES FOR MRS. O’BRIENFuneral Services were held Thursday May 21st \at 9:30 a. txi. for Mrs. . Katie lAgnes O’Brien who died at her home May 18 following-a Jong illness Born in Chicasaw -County the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen McGouder she came to this community as a young girl and married Thomas O’Brien in 1905 at Our Lady of Lourdes Chiiroh.One daughter Genevieve was born to them and surviving with her husbandij Also surviving are three sisters Mol by Mrs. H. H. Temmerman of St Paul Minn Mrs, Ellis Sweeney of Elma. Mrs. Rose Ogelvice of Spokane Wash., also a brother James Meferuder of Spokane Wash., preceding her in death were her parents and seven brothers Pat-rich, Owen, Mich ail, Frank. Bernard, John and Eckard relatives and friends attending .the funeral from distance came from Minneapolis, Spokane, Wash. Austin, Waterloo Lawler New Hampton, Cresco, Lime Springs, Oasge, Mason City, Charles City, Chester, Loreudes and Colwell.Burial waa at the Calvary Oemetary with John Regan, Virgil Ferrie, James. Berry, Evans, Ambrose Scully and Tom Kelly serving as pall bearers. The Rev. John Moran conducted the services.
