Arts degree at Louisiana State University in 1925. He was graduated from the University of Georgia in 1917. lie lettered in football, basketball and baseball during his undergraduate days.He was student “Y” director and freshman varsity coach at Clemson College from 1919 to 1922. He then went to LSU in that capacity and while on the faculty, earned hisidlc(LmMaster's degree.From there he came to Tech and there he has been ever since, except for his military service.
