Burgess Joseph McElhatton was famed without opposition for te fourteenth term at the nomination of officers at the June meeting of the George Clay Fire Company last evening. Other Officers nominated with that opposition are Willian Murphy vice president; pen ea McLaughlin, recording secretary; ry Hamn edy, financial secretary and Ben jamin Lo Riles, treasurers ‘There will be contests for alll other offices as follows: Trustee ‘5 years) Robert White, present incumbent; and Joseph Costello Jr. fire chief, John Smith, pres ent incumbent, and Harry Hitner jassistant chiefs, (threw to be ed) Perry F. Ramey, James 7 san, Terrance Campbell, present: ‘incumbent). Thomas Smith, Fran cis Kane, Josph Oswoski, Arthur OConnor, Thomas Kane and Dan iel Baker; engineers, Philip Mac Kenzie, John Smit and Thomas Smith; delegate to State Firemen's Convention, Chartles Pugh;lter nate delegate, Thomas Kane The annual election will be held at the July meeting A donation of $5 wos given to the Red Cross . it was decided to abolish the weekly dances during the summer months.
