BODY FOUND BY PARR GARB TAKER AT CITY PARK DOCKA body identified as that of Vernon Merchant waS discovered in. the river just (south of the park late Tuesday afternoon/From papers in a coat pocket the body was found to be Vernon Merchant 26 years of age, who disappeared some three weeks ago. It is be-. lieved the drowning was accidental. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning Rev. Fr. Magnan officiating. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery.s’ . •*
