the option ot arranging two auuiuonui fights for $7,500 each. *GOLF.The local golf grounds are now in excellent condition, and the club is larger than it ever was before. New members are being added each week, and the club will soon compare fav-oralTlv with that of the clubs in larger towns, and in the cities. Many of the golfers are practicing every afternoon, and it is hoped that the players will soon be proficient enough to meet other towns. It has been the custom in the past for a representative-body of the Lindsay Club to play the members of the clubs in the nearby towns and cities, and it is hoped that within a few weeks the golfers will have a chance of meeting some of these clubs.I ArPOQQP I ti
