CANAL work plannedIN TUSCARAWASCuba! Dover, June 2 —Tuscarawas county gets a good share of the repairs that are to be made on this section of the Ohio canal this coming year. John Crawford and R. I. Bechtel, the engineers who are working in this division, have completed their work and have made an estimate of the cost of repairs. It is estimated that about $261,000 will be spent this coming, year ou the canal and not further south than Tuscarawas county. The following is the official announcement by the state board of public works of the work to be done on thus division: For the improvement ot the Northern Division of the Ohio canal, for the building of the Tuscarawas feeder dam, Summit county: Zoar dam: culvert« at the middle and lower Bolivar locks: higft water waste gates near Navarre: cemetery bar retaining wall near Massillon; repairing two locks and dry dock at Massillon; culvert Wal-houdfng canal; extension on Sugar Creek dam at Canal Dover; culvert and open drain near Xasliport; deepening stream and construction of Hilton dam near Trenton.
