He went to Washington four years ago for the benefit of hla] health. Deceased was unmarried and , about thirty-six years of age, death was the result of consumption. He was a cousin of Herbert Neal, of this city and Mr. and Mrs. Neal will attend the funeral services. Ropp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ropp of Hendricks town ship, died at 9 p.m. Sunday, June 2, aged twelve years. Funeral services will be held at the Bengal M. I. church at 10 a. m. Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, wife of Mil ton Martin, on the Boggstawr pike. A short distance northwest of the civ died suddenly Saturday afternoon of senility, after a physical collapse. She was seventy-six years old and leave: three sons. Harry, Charles and Ed ward. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the house at 2:20 o'clock, the Rev. I. C. Pritch ard officiating. Buriae in uearty conc etery. Alanda Mahan, one of the most prominent farmers of Rush county residing in Walker township mea Mantlia, died late Sunday night. To Shelbyville friends his death was an expected and it is thought it must have been very sudden. Mr. Mahan was In Shelbyville two weeks ago and Iappeared in the best of health He ‘was aged about seventy years ‘Mr. Mahan was the father of Mr. Ed Herter and Mrs. Charles Healve of this city, also a cousin of Delaney Mahan. Mrs. Jerusha Stansifer, wife of Samuel Stansifer, died at their home in Noble township, in the southern part of the county at 5 a. m.. Sumlsy, June 2, 1997. of kidney trouble, at the age of sixty-five years, one month and thirteen days. Besides the hus band, Ave children, Alonzo, Grant Minnie, Celia and Viola, and two sis ters, Mrs. Maria Sample, of Blooming ton, Ind., and Mrs. Ralinda Tindall of Sulphur Hil, survive her. In the death of Mra Stansifer, the people of that community have lost one of their beat neighbors and friends and the family have their heartfelt nympthy. Panera services will be held in the Pleasant Grove church, east of Norristown, at 10:30 a. m., Pueaday, June 4, 1907, the Rev. Randolph, of Indianapols, of Melating.
