Sunday morning he arose early and came to the city to attend church. After he had been seated in his pew Tor a few minutes, those who were seated near him. noticed that he was deathly pale. Hefore anyone could reach his side, he fainted away. Persons carried the suffering man out to the church door, and for several minutes it was believed that he was dying. Ho was unconscious and at the time there was little hopes of his recovery. The ambulance was hastily summoned and the unconscious man was removed to St. Mary's hospital, where he lay hovering between life and death for several hours. Today he showed some signs of improvement, and this morning regained con sciousness. He is able to take some nourishment, and can converse with members of the family.
