County Eischth Grade Examination.A commendable interest has been shown this year in the examination for common school diplomas. 41) applicants representing 13 different schools have taken all the examination while 50other pupils have taken part for “hold over grades.Pupils have plnced to their credit for next year all grades of 85 or above. They have the privilege of taking the examination in the same branches next year and credit will be given for any advance in grades. 30 pupils of the seventh grade and 17 of the eighth grade have made the required 85 per cent in one or more branches.Two examinations were held.
