University of Indiana, Waomington, May 31, 1800. Encouraged by last year's success the officers of the Alummni Association wish to urge upon the members at large, the obli gation each owes his Alma Mater to at tend her annual commencement. The coming commencement promises to be one of interest and nativity. The classes in the various departments will be large and their exercises will prove at tractive. Hon. George G. Wright of Town and class of '39 will again honor the association with this presense. The an nual address will be delivered by Hon. omer T. Bothwell, crara '69, an eloquent orator and a prominent citizen of Mis sour. The business meeting will, is hoped, prove of value and interest. It is now be for the alumni to seek a re sponsible part in the afaira of the Uni versity. This must and should be done through the business meeting of the As sociation. The officers of the Association also take great pleasure,in saying that the Alumni banquet has now becomes aixed and very enjoyable feature of commence ment, and no alumnus can afford to stay away. It is the place at which to renew one's youth, to revive the memories of student life, and to stimulate avery alum bus not only to return oftener at the com mencement season but also to take an abiding interest in the work of the insti tution, Compsoncomant, Juse 5-11, 1690.
