IXDKPKNDEKT CANDIDATE. Col. Win.N. Lonsdale, (Whig) of Holmes county bns published o circular, in which he declares himself a candidate for the Senatorial branch of the next Legislature, in oppo-sition to the regular nominee of the whig county couvontion. He is thought to be more jKipular than his opponent; and wil1 from what we can learn make a good rim— but it is a dog fight, and the democrats dont care much which whips.
