WELLSBURG — The Brooke County grand jury Monday returned 11 indict ments against 14 persons, involving 15 felony charges and seven misdemeanor charges. Meeting in the first session of the June term of court, the 16 grand jurors returned a six-count felony indictment against Bernard Myers, 40, of 237 May Road, Follawsbee, on charges of second-degree sexual assault against a juvenile. Charges returned against Myers stem from six alleged incidents bet ween May 5, 1983, and June 3, 1985, in volving a Brooke County girl under 16-years-old. Other indictments returned include: George B. Rosanovich, 32, of 478 Rockdale Road, indicted on a felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident on Route 2 near the Market Street Bridge on April 26. Mark Anthony Visnick, 24, of La Mesa, Calif, formerly of 201 Elmer Ave., Weirton, indicted on felony charges of breaking and entering Snodgrass Auto at 4015 Main St., Weir ton; grand larceny in connection with the alleged theft of a vehicle valued at $2,300 from Snodgrass Auto May 2; and felony charge of non-appearance for a scheduled hearing. Kimberly Francis, 19, of 3701 Or chard St., Weirton, indicted on a charge of felonious assault against Tina Marie Prichard on Feb. 26. Edward L. Denhart, 20, of 110 Maple Way, Mingo Junction, indicted on a felony charge of grand larceny involv ing a hand gun, a .38 caliber pistol, valued at more than $200 belonging to Ron Retzer of Follawsbee. Kenneth Lee Bailey, 20, of 1348. 13th St., Weirton, and Scott B. Accettola, 20, of 374 N. 20th St., Weirton, jointly in dicted on a felony charge of breaking and entering of Dodd’s Sales Inc. on Tent Church Road March 26. David Hoffman, 18, of 144 Loretta Ave., Follawsbee, indicted on a felony charge of nightime burglary of the Harry McAbee residence at 37P Halls Road, RD 1, Colliers, April 30. Gregory Mullins, 35, of Apartment 5 C, 623 Lovers Lane, Steubenville, in dicted on a charge of felonious assault against Karen L. Williams and misde meanor counts of brandishing a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon, a razor. Charges stem from an incident April 2. Margretta Hayes, 38, Mike Hayes Sr., no age listed, and Mike Hayes Jr., 18, all of Box 258 Pierce’s Run Road, were jointly indicted on a charge of felonious assault against Clifford Slusher stemm ing from an April 29 incident. Joseph Campinelli Jr., 46, of Wellsburg, lodged in the Brooke County Jail in lieu of bond on charges stemm ing from previous grand jury in cidents, was indicted on three addi tional misdemeanor charges of telephone harassment against Mary Katherine Martin. Campinelli allegedly made harassing telephone calls to Mrs. Martin from a jail telephone Feb. 27 and March 2. The telephone installed in the jail is on an outgoing collect call basis. Joseph Douglas Felici, 34, of 1314 West St., Follansbee, indicted on a misdemeanor charge of issuing a wor thless check, $313.43, on an account at the Bank of Follansbee on April 4. The grand jury convened at 9:30 a.m. and reported to Judge Callie Tsapis at 2:30 p.m., after a non-stop session reviewing presentments made by Pro secutor David Cross. Cross said there is a possibility of the grand jury being recalled before the end of the court term in November. Judge Tsapis said arraignments will be held June 16 before Judge Craig Broadwater.
