In the convoy was a mobile home, two 510 Massey combines two tandem grain trucks, a utility ’’tonner. a three quarter ton pick up and three smaller trailers For the next 3'* to four months the Kinsey family will follow the harvest north, combining wheat, barley and flax. They plan to work in Oklahoma, Kansas. Nebraska, the Dakotas and perhaps Colorado before returning to Johnston and some custom work around this area.Chub and his boys have been following the harvest for the last four years, but this year Steve and Chris’s wives and Steve’s two children will join the crew The women will do the cooking and Chris’s wife Cindy may drive a truck for them. (Chris and Cindy were married May 15, and there was no way Cindy wasgoing to be left at home.')The Kinseys will hire out to a rancher by the acre and will move about the wheat belt wherever they are needed.
