Mr and Mrs. Raymond F. Leg gett Jr. and friends of San Angelo stopped for a visit with Mrs. J. A. Leggett on their way to New Or leans, La. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Matthews of Luling visited his grandmoth er, Mrs. Nora Matthews, on the weekend Mrs. Nora Matthews and John nie Stevens attended the retire ment ceremonies at Bergstrom Air Force Base last Friday. Her son, M/Sgt. Bryant Matthews, was among those receiving their dis charge. He was the youngest of the group and also had the great est number of active service years. Clayborn Ray Gray of Alvarado is visiting his uncle, Frank Baker, this week. Subscribe for The Menard News Mrs. Nora Matthews was a guest in the home of Mrs. Frank Mat thews and Mayme Brittin in Brady last week.
