Fourof these undulations were vis-Iable at once, and Wes swears this was no group of dolphins ;or other large fish. He was close enough to it that when he called to the man in the row-boat,often.1 • • •This happened just off Gospel* • •Rock at Gibsons at, two o’clock on. the afternoon of May 48th when Wes was fishing. He sighted someone in. a row boat,rowing “like mad”, and wentalong to see if he could help• i ' * f * ' -■*the rower. Finding eperything* ; *under control, he turned to, go... *about his . own business. Then, he saw IT.“IT’5 was a long, slim creature,day for San Francisco.In Vancouver for the weekend to attend the Tommy Dorsey show were Mr. and Mrs. Doug Roberts.other side of the beast, he was clearly .heard above the sound of his motor. Not more than ahundred feet, he swears, separated him from the huge sea-*creature.- “IT” had ’a hide like that of an elephant, 'without any hair -or covering.
