The Medicine Hat branch of the Canadian Red Cross Society went into action this morning following the fire at 339 North Railway St., which claimed the lives of three children and one adult, and leaving homeless 12 other children and adults. Officials made immediate plans to provide necessary clothing for the survivors, and a survey is under way to decide what further steps will be taken to replace cloth ing and other Household and person al effects lost in the blaze which completely gutted the tailor shop and residence.
