Republican Executive Committee. Columbus, 6, June 2—At a confer ence of state leaders at the Columbus club it was decided to call a meeting of the Republican state central com mittee June 2%. at the Neil House. There were present Senator Charles Lick, Chairman O. B. Gould and Sec retary Walter F. Brown of the state central committee, and State QC In spector John R. Malloy. Governor Tierrick was consulted by Senator Dick prior to the conference. At the meeting on the 22d the state executive committee will be named. Governor Herrick has requested that his cam paign formation be managed by Senator Dick, so the present officers of the campaign committee, Chairman Thick, Secretary Malloy and Treasurer W. FF. Burdell, will be reelected. Reseivers Appointed. Cleveland, O.. June 2—Judge Tay lor of the United States district court here appointed Jacob T. Fawcett re ceiver of the assetts and property of William L. Davis, vice president of the closed Canton State bank. The receiver’s bond was fixed at $30,900. The court also named C. C. Bow as receiver for the Davis stalhead com pany, and William L. Stalzenbach of Canton as receiver for the Mineral City Supply company. Stalzenbach was also named receiver of the Cleve land Brick company of Canton, with a bond of $59,000 In each case Davie was largely interested in all the com panies mentioned lasued Injunction. Cincinat, U., June 4—united States’ Judge Thompson issued a temporary injunction forbidding William and Amanita Stichtenath from disposing of certain memoranda in the B. L. Springfield, O., June 2.—Springfield saloon heepers will organize a co-oper ative brewery to fight the so called beer trust ALA Fonden of Detroit has promoted the company and 22 local saloonista have subscribed for stock. Gold Heidup, Cohimahis, O, June 2, — Two men held up Michael Moran In his saloon on the West Site, secured $120, and to prevent pursuit one of the high waymen shot Moran through the leg. The robbers are at large. Kineman Nominated, Warren, C., June 2—Hon. Thomas Kingman was unanimously renomi nated for senator from this district at the senatorial convention, held at Niles Train Robber's Confession, Phillipsburg, Moat. June 2 — The train robber who held up the north coast limited on the Northern Pacific at Bearmouth last Sunday night had confessed the crime, Hoe says he alone was implicated. His same is Clarence B. Traction Line Sold, Indianapolis, June 2. — It was an nounced that the Indianapolis and Martinsville traction Inc, operating 30 miles of track, was sold to the Stone Webster syndicate of Boston. The price was $150,000, the purchasers as suming one-third of the bond issue of $750,000.
