Peoples Party Mass Meeting.In answer to the call of the Chairman, the Peoples Party met at the court house last Wednesday.Delegates were appointed to attend the convention which meets in Griffin for the purpose of sending delegates to the national convention at Omaha, and also to the state convention.Warm speeches were made by Rev. 11. Mask, Squire Chambers. G. Harris, Dr. Ware and others.Resolutions were passed pledging the members hot to vote for any man for any office who does not stand squarely on the St. Louis platform; and also endorsing Dr. J. E. H. Ware as the choice of the Peoples party in the county for Senator.About two hundred were present, including a fair sprinkling of Democrats.
