Kilburn then moved that we heartily co-operate with that association, and that measures be taken by this committee to give every soldier and sailor in this Department an opportunity to contribute, aud that Major T. J. Saunders, Major W. L M. Burger aud Capt Jesse Merrill, be appointed a subcommittee to prepare the necessary papers and blanks lor receiving the subscriptions.
