Weekend guests of Mrs. and Mrs. A. J. Vickery of Promised Land were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lovelady and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lovelady of Chicago. They came especially to be with Albert Lovelady’s sister, Mrs. Louise Henson. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Langley and son spent the weekend in Chicago with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mc Clain of Scott, Miss., spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommey Shelton. Mrs. Willie Kinkendall and daughter of Osceola were guests of her brother and sister in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Winiford Burgess. L. D. Wade was admitted to Blytheville Hospital. Mrs. R. W. Warren is a pa tient in Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Virgie Daniels visited Saturday with her daughter in Luxcar. Mrs. Shamlin, mother of Mrs. Roy Conyers, is a patient in Chickasawba Hospital. Mrs. Vada Connelly is mov ing this week to Steelie. Miss Ann Nance was hostess Tuesday night for a miscellan eous shower in honor of the for mer Miss Janette Bearden. Mrs. and Mrs. Weis Grimes and Robert Plasco of Carnette, Miss., Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Young of Portland, Calif., and Mrs. Alverdia Parvin of San Francisco, Calif., visited recent ly with Mrs. Sam Alford. Mrs. Margie Ashmore and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ashmore visited relatives in Nashville over the weekend. Mrs. Jeanie Parrish is a pa tient in Doctors Hospital. Mrs. and Mrs. Ray Hudson of Chicago and Mrs. Madge Hud son of Iuka, Miss., was the week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Minyard and family of Lone Oak. Mr. and Mrs. David Bradford of Keiser were weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Warren, of Half Moon. Dan Hollenback of Half Moon is a patient in Campbell Clinic in Memphis. R. L. Minyard of Dell visited Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dedman in Egypt over the weekend. Mrs. Dedman accompanied him home for a visit. Mrs. W. M. Morrow spent Monday and Tuesday with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heflin, and daugh ter of Dogwood. Raymond Daniel of Union City, Tenn., is visiting this week with his son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gard ner. Mrs. Bill Austin of Dogwood, Mrs. Guy Shelton of Memphis and Mrs. A. L. Neel of Hayti left Wednesday for Omaha, Neb., for a visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. David Prince and children are vacationing this week in Little Rock with his mother, Mrs. Billy Williams, and Mr. Williams.
