Jr. Hart HonoredOn May 31, Dr. Deryl Hart’s administrative colleagues gave a testimonial dinner at Hope Valey Country Club in recognition of his contribution to Duke University first as professor of surgery and then as president of the University. Guests in-eluded trustees of the Duke Endowment, Duke University trustees, University officials, some of his colleagues in the medical school and their wives.Dr. Calvin Hoover presided. Mr. B. P. Womble responded for the Board of Trustees, Mr. Thomas L. Perkins for the Duke Endowment, Dr. William B. Hamilton for the faculty, and Dr. R. Taylor Cole for the administrative colleagues.
