NUMBER 8Mrs, Orpha Summe Injured While Starting Gasolene Stove, Last Thursday Evening.-—Alcohoi Priming Can Exploded.On Thursday evening of last week as Mrs. Orpha Somme was starting fire to get supper at her. home, in this place, she met with an accident that might have cost her life.She was generating a gasolene etove with' wood alcohol and when the first dot of alcohol had burned out ehe thought that the stove was not properly generated and applied the eeoond lot from a small oan intended lor that purpose.It seems that a portion of the alcohol had remained in the nozzle of the oan and caught fire from the hot burner and in an instant gas was generated and the top was blown from the oan. .The flames severely burned Mrs. Summe about the ueok and faoe and her clothing was set on fire in a number of places, bat with the aid of her son Mack,' who happened to be near at hand, the flames were extinguished ■and a physician summoned.The burns were carefully dressed and on Saturday morning it was de-oided to take her to the hospital in Warsaw where she could get the required rest and quiet. ,At late et report Mm.
