In order to escape from them he broke through a back kitchen window at Fred Paro’s bouse and entered, but he found that he had lumped out of the frying pan into the fire, for the plucky Mrs. Paro supposed him to be a burglar and got the drop on him with a revolver. She obliged him to craw*flsli back out of the hole he had broken through the window.
