Mr. Millerand sung by the choir.7- Ode written for the occasion by Rev. Mr. Lowrie. It was most excellent.S. Address by Rev. Mr. McMullen of Richmond, Ind. Most Satisfactory.9. Singing by the choir. Good.10. Benediction by Rev. Mr. Robinson.The ceremonies were appropriately conducted and every thing went off pleasantly and satisfactorily. After the exercises were concluded and a recess of 30 minutes for a pic nic entertainment, a sale commenced which resulted in the disposal of a number of lots, at prices ranging from $20 to $500 About $4,000 were realized; and the sales will probably be about as much more, within the next two weeks.The experiment of having a Rural Cemetery within a short distance of our city, has become a fixed fact. In short the experiment has proved a complete successi far exceeding the expectations of the originators of the project.
