Death of a Female Blacksmith — On Thursday evening, the 1st inst, the news of the death of Miss Hiaraan arrived. at Melton. The cause of death was brain fever. The young woman has for some tine followed the occupation of a blacksmith, and has worked at the forgo and shoeing. Frequently she-might be seen with her leather apron mounted on the back of a liorse, taking it home after lt;he had been shoeing* it. Iso doubt she will be much ml-^ed, as she was thought, to be very clever. Man7 paironi/ed die place as a novelty.—[ifov-tingham Journal.
