Cosgrove PastorGoes To BauerThe Most Reverend Bishop Rohl-man announced a change in the pastorate at St. Peter’s church, Cosgrove.Rev. Harry «T. Ryan, who has been serving at Cosgrove will succeed ■Father Keating as pastor of St. Joseph’s church, Bauer. Harry J. Ryan was born at Ardmore, Pa., on April 4, 1902. He attended Pennsylvania State College and the University of NotreDame, where he received his A. B. in 3 92 7. He attended Ken rick seminary, St. Liouis, for his theological*course and was ordained on May 21, 1932, by His Eminence Dennis Cardinal Dougherty in Pholadelphha.Father Ryan’s first appointment wasas a professor at St. Ambrose. From•1933 to 1940 he was assistant at St. Patrick’s, Iowa City; then he was granted a leave4 of absence to travel in the Orient; on his return he became administrator of St. Peter's, Cosgrove.Rev. Edward C. Keating, who has been serving at Bauer, becomes pastor of St. Bridget’s church, Nolan Settlement, with St. Mary’s churcfy; Morse, as an out-mission. He succeeds the Rev. Martin . J. Diamond, who will go soon to act as a chajplainin the United States army.Edward C. Keating was born at Dubuque, Iowa, on October 27, 1900, and attended St. Patrick’s school and Columbia academy in Dubuque. He received his B. A. degree from Loyola university, Chicago, in 1928, where he, transferred after spending three years at Columbia college. After his theological course at Kenrick seminary he was ordained by Bishop Rohlman in Sacred Heart cathedral on May 21, 1932. *Father Keating served as assistant at Sacred Heart cathedral, chaplain at Ottumwa. Heights college, assistant at St. Patrick’s, Ottumwa, at Centerville,1 and later at St. Paul’s, Burlington; he was appointed pastor of Bauer on January l, 1940.(
