FAMILY REUNIONIS HELD AT W. F.LATHAM HOME WED.OCCASION WAS GIVEN IN HONOR OF MRS. W.R. JENNINGS.Relatives of Mrs. W. F. Latham gathered at the Latham home Wednesday, July 22, for a family reunion to honor their oldest sister, Mrs. W. R. Jennings of Merkel who was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Latham.The occasion of the celebration was the seventy-seventh birthday anniversary of Mrs. Jennings. A bountiful birthday dinner was served and the day spent in happy remembrances of the past.Brothers and sisters present were J. M. Slaughter of Hico; H. C. Slaughter, wife and daughter, Totsy Nell of Alpine; Mrs. C. C. Wheeler of Buffalo Gap; Mrs. Latham and Mrs. Jennings. Other relatives were J. M. Hamilton and son, Buck of Merkel; Mrs. Frank Weatherford and son, Aubry Lee of Temple; Mr. and Mrs. O. 0. Sprinkle and children, Bobbie and Eddie of Tuscola; Mr. and Mrs. Ely Shepperd of Temple.cutlcV
